In this project, we had around forty minutes of class time to design and build a skyscraper from only a single piece of poster paper. Also, we couldnt use any adhesives and the skyscaper must be able to hold a helicopter pad (a small coin).

The thing I liked about his activity was that it gave us the chance to use the engineering process, first come up with the design and then build. One thing I disliked about this activity is that we only had one class period to build and design the skycraper, which is not nearly enough time to design and brainstorm ideas.

One thing I would do differntly is make the base more stable by putting more weight at the bottom of the tower

We came up with our final design by just trying to make the highest tower, then finding out that it will topple and finally cutting the tower in half so that it wouldnt fall over

One of our biggest design flaws waas that we didnt have a good "lock system" that kepted the two sides of paper poster together
