The iCup project

Our new design of the cup mostly centers around the iphone/itouch dock embedded in the cup. Differnt iOS apps regulate differnt features of the cup, including the tempature, mini-microwave, and instant coffee maker, with more apps and features coming. Five rechargeable lithuim-ion batteries provides the power for the mini-microwave, which both can be used to keep the contents of the cup warm and heat up cold drinks. The solor panel lid can charge up the batteries whenever sunlight is present, otherwise the included wireless charger makes charging the cup both easy and convient without the need of tangled cables. The casing on the cup is made from a special triple layer titanium-alloy thats light, scratch-proof, microwave safe, and almost impossible to break. The hand grip is tempur-pedic that molds to the shape of the user's hand and serves as an excelent insulator.
